Member Groups

Overview.

Members are separated by countries.  

Archades.

Led by Emperor Balthier, the top officials of the military are comprised of the Judges after they have proven their worth and loyalty to the Empire. The Judges are the elite and personal hand of the Emperor while the knights act as the generals on the battlefield to control the soldiers. With the view of harmony only being attainable with the world controlled by one nation, Balthier strives to convince others to fall under Archades rule or force it upon them.

Balamb.

Led by Queen Ultimecia, this kingdom stresses its place in the world as a neutral nation. Because it's a nation that's not looking to war, they have a small military. At the same time, they have a military school run by the Queen called SeeDs. The military school offers civilians the ability to learn combat to defend themselves and graduates are offered a position within the royal army but not forced, however, SeeDs members are forced into missions that service Balamb's interests since the school is run by its Queen.

Midgar.

Led by President Scarlet Beaumont, Midgar has advancements in weaponry as well as excelled military performance. While it lacks military numbers compared to Archades, the SOLDIER program that has recently been implemented has proven to even the odds in the battle. Not everyone is capable of going through the SOLDIER program or the experiments required; however Scarlet has the standard Peace Keeping Troops to hold back an invasion. She labors in the weapons development area along with her research team to create new weapons and machinery that she hopes to turn the tide in her favor.
