Job Classes Overview. On A Gift From The Goddess, we understand some people wish to battle and we have provided a simple battle system. Players will start with a few skills and learn more though the game by gaining Experience to unlock more skills and advance classes. There are two different teachings a character can follow. Followers Of The Body. Through rigorous physical training, they hone their bodies and souls into instruments of combat. Followers of the Body use a weapon or their fists to carve a way though this world. Beginning classes for this discipline are Archer, Lancer, Monk, Thief, and Warrior. Followers Of The Mind. By training their minds, they gain the knowledge one needs to change the world into their liking. While most followers use magic other use technology. Beginner classes for this discipline are limited to Mechanics, Black Mage, Blue Mage, Red Mage or White Mage. Experience. To gain more skills, players must gain experience. Experience is gained by posting and extra experience can be collected by completing a thread. Upon posting in the completed thread area, the thread is added to the timeline and experience is awarded to all players in a thread. Characters are awarded ten experience per page with no limits. If you thread lasts one page, all characters who posted will get then experience points; if it lasts ten pages, all participating characters will get one hundred experience points.

Followers Of The Body Archer >> Gunner Wielding bows and crossbows, these fighters use projectiles to take down their foes from a distance with expert precision. Constant assessment of the battlefield enables them to carefully determine the most advantageous ground from which to loose, as well as the nature of the arrows best suited to their enemy. For two thousand experience, this class can be switched to a Gunner. Beginning skills are as follows: ▶ FIRE ARROW: Ignited arrow is launched: able to ignite dry burnables, or inflict minor fire damage. ▶ SMOKE ARROW: An arrow that releases a smokescreen upon impact, allowing the Archer to flee from his/her current location. ▶ UNCANNY ARCHER: The Archer has a sixth sense regarding the trajectory of arrows and is capable of dodging them with relative ease.
Monk >> Godhand Using their bare knuckles, these fighters have high endurance and make sure their bodies are at peak condition. Even without weapons or armor, these fighters are hard to take down since they withstand several blows. For two thousand experience, this class can be switched to a Godhand. Beginning skills are as follows: ▶ CHI RESTORE: The Monk taps into spiritual powers and heals their own minor injuries and rejuvenate some of their lost strength. Cannot be used on allies. ▶AIR RENDER: The Monk gathers Chi, leaving him/her vulnerable for a few seconds before thrust their fist out to unleash a power blast that has enough power to knock unsuspecting foes onto the ground. ▶HOLY SIGN: Removes both harmful and beneficial status effects from individuals within a ten foot radius.
Thief >> Ninja Utilizing daggers, these fighters focus on speed and quickness when attacking. Known for having 'sticky hands,' thieves are known for not only taking your items but some also specialize in taking lives. For two thousand experience, this class can be switched to a Ninja. Beginning skills are as follows: ▶ SMOKESCREEN: The thief tosses a smoke grenade to allow him/her to get out of a dangerous situation. ▶THROW: The thief is adept at throwing small projectiles such as knives at their opponents. ▶ SLIGHT OF HAND: The thief has a natural knack for slipping their hands into others pockets. Extremely successful against those distracted.
Warrior >> Knight Warriors use various weapons to overpower and subdue their enemies in combat. Usually, warriors are armed with a sword, lance, axe, or a hammer to crush their foes with superior strength. For two thousand experience, this class can be switched to a Knight. Beginning skills are as follows: ▶ MAGIC BREAK: Warrior is able can cancel out a single spell directed at them. ▶ BERSERKER: Consumed by the spirit of battle, a warrior becomes slightly insane and a great force to be reckon. ▶ WAR CRY: Warrior lets out a cry that makes their next attack unblockable.

Followers Of The Mind Black Mage >> Arcanist The Black Mage uses his magic for destruction. Though his will, he conjures conjures the elements to do his bidding. For two thousand experience, this class can become an Arcanist.
▶ Fire: Inflicts weak fire damage to one enemy. Cooldown: one post. ▶ Blizzard: Inflicts weak ice damage to one enemy. Cooldown: one post. ▶ Thunder: Inflicts weak thunder damage to one enemy. Cooldown: one post.
Blue Mage >> Elementalist The Blue Mage uses his skills mimic attacks that would be used by monsters. It's say they can communicate with beasts and are one with the natural world. For two thousand experience, this class can become an Elementalist.
▶ White Wind: Heals minor wounds for those surrounding the caster and removes status ailments. Cooldown: 4 posts. ▶ Fire Breath: This attack literally makes the caster breath fire on enemies. It can affect up to three people and does a significant amount of fire damage. cooldown: 4 posts ▶ Aqua Breath: This attack literally makes the caster breath water on enemies. It can affect up to three people and does a significant amount of water damage. cooldown: 4 posts.
Red Mage >> Scholar A Red Mage is one who has the heart for compassion and power to defend himself. He has the skills of both a Black and White Mage but on a much weaker scale. For two thousand experience, this class can become a Scholar. ▶ Fire: Inflicts weak fire damage to one enemy. Cooldown: one post. ▶ Blizzard: Inflicts weak ice damage to one enemy. Cooldown: one post. ▶Cure: Can close and heal minor wounds. Cure uses a lot of the casters strength to successfully cast. Cooldown: 3 posts.
White Mage >> Sage A White Mage uses his power to protect this world. They are the ultimate pacifist since they have no offensive skills. For two thousand experience, this class can become a Sage. ▶ Cure: Can mend minor bone injuries and deep wounds. Cure uses a lot of the casters strength to successfully cast. Cooldown: one post. ▶ Heal: Can be used to help caster or an ally recover from a status effect such as poison or blind. Cooldown: 2 Posts ▶Protect: Creates a barrier that protects against one physical attack. cooldown: 3 Posts.
