The city itself is small, being a classic port town, with many stone-cobbled alleyways winding between buildings which hug the curve of the hills. Fresh seafood can be found in the market stalls daily, along with many other items brought by traders. Several waterways run through the city, some carrying drinking water, others used as canals for the transport of goods.

This town is located in the mountains outside of the Imperial City of Archades. The climate is everlasting frost; and the town relies solely on the coal mined from the mountains to heat and power their homes.

A broad plain located in a remote corner. The few explorers who reach the steppe return with reports of a tribe of fiercely independent nomadic hunters who have lived off the land here, cut off from the rest of human civilization. The actual location of such a tribe has not been made public.

The tower is a mismatch of architecture, mixing rubble, machinery, and palace-type areas in a random fashion. Unknown banners, shattered esper capsules, and conveyor belts make up much of the tower's inner areas. A few rooms in the tower are unchanged recreations of rooms from those locations, such as the prison cells of Vector and a hallway lined with esper capsules from the Magitek Research Facility. The magic used to twist the land into the tower is reflected in the area, where the grass and smaller islands form a swirl with the tower standing in the center.
