Summons List
Overview.
A summon is a spiritual beast available to all advanced classes. For 5000exp (once you reach an advanced class) you can choose a summon that your character can use. Each character is allowed one summon.
Available Summons.
These should be the Summons or Espers that are Canon to the Final Fantasy worlds. When choosing a summon, be sure to check to make sure it wasn't claimed already by another member. We have faith that the members will do their best to avoid overpowered summons such as Knights Of The Round. Also, summons that cause 'Instant Death' to all foes will need to be reworked in order to work.
Summon Guidelines.
When a character calls forth a Summon, the beast arrives in whatever fashion the player deems 'flashy enough' for their own tastes. The summon appears for one turn to unleash whatever attack they have and then they disappear once more.
The cooldown for using them is high because it's expected the damage or skills(Some summons don't have offensive skills after all) they have to be high and effective.
Summons that cause 'Instant Death' to foes will need to be reworked in order to work.
When applying for a Summon, if the staff feels it might be a bit excessively powerful, they have the right to ask the member to choose a different one. On this note, it is always best to consult a staff about your desired summon and get their opinion on it. They are more than happy to be helpful!
There is no list of summons on the site because the large amount of ones available.
Summons, such as the ones in FFXIII that transform into vehicles or some form of transportation that allows the player to essentially ride it for a time are not available. We tend to like the idea that summons are not Transformers.
