04. SET CANONS

Cosmos was the one who fashioned this world and for four years she watched it from her temple.  Recently, the Emperor of Archades as attracted her attentions since she sees the good in his intentions and now hides who she truly as she takes up a role as a Royal Adviser.   

Chaos appeared in Balamb three years ago when the city was at war for power hoping it would expand.  Since then, he's stuck around as an adviser for the current Queen.  His intentions are unknown.

Balthier became Archades' Emperor two years ago when the city was nothing more than an disorganized mess. He has made great strides in makes Archades a true nation; one that the people are glad to follow under his silver tongue. Seeing other nations slowly grow in power, he has since decided that in order to maintain peace, all nations would need to be put under the rule of the Imperial Empire. 

While seeming to be leading the Balamb nation on a grounds of neutrality between Midgar and Archades; it's hard to tell what intentions the ruler of Balamb has. The leader of Balamb makes a habit of sending out her generals on her behalf rather than dealing with officials from other nations.

This mechanical genius saw the opportunity to become the ruler that the nation of Midgar needed and took it. There was no great story behind her rise in power; she was simply faster than the rest, and she loves the position. Now she runs the nation as its President, using her intelligence and generals to guide Midgar to a bright future.

While some may find him to a dangerous man, the Arcades' Emperor could not deny the fact that Mateus was a powerful person to have as a general. If there isn't something his Blue Magic can't take care of the Mateus uses his intellect to formulating strategies to gain the upper hand in an upcoming battle. 

Three years ago, he was one of the people to lose to Ultimecia during the grab for power in Balamb.  Now he serves at her head general. Jecht is always hoping for a challenge and were it not for the strict orders given to him to maintain the peace, this general would have rushed to battle at the first sign of trouble. 

Working under the President of Midgar, Lightning once lead the Peace Keeping Troops wherever they are ordered. Her battle prowess and leadership qualities have earned her respect amongst the troops. Since then, Kain has taken over command of the army and Lightning is said to handle the more secretive branch of Scarlet's military known as Turks.

While she may be the youngest general between all the nations, her skills as a Red Mage are unmatched. Her unshakeable loyalty to the Imperial Empire has earned her the trust of her Emperor and she believes that true peace can only be obtained when all nations are combined under the Imperial Empire.

Calm and serious, this woman commands the respect from the Balamb forces through her skills a strategic planning; however, rumors state that her fellow general, Jecht, has a hard time relinquishing leadership.  It is said she has always been loyal to Ultimecia and follows her will without questions.

Kain was one of the first to join the SOLDIERs program. Since then, Kain has proven skills several times over and is not shy about taking the lead in combat. It is even rumored this man has defeated a dragon on his own.  Most of his orders are given directly by the President of Midgar.
