Mystic Falls is no stranger to the supernatural. This summer went by fast for Elena & the gang. It was a summer of fun and of adventure. But for the town of Beacon Hills it was a summer of anguish, fear, and a time of quarantine. When Scott, Allison, and Stiles sacrificed themselves they granted the Nemeton it's full power. Releasing not only the Nogitsune, but the Crotoan virus that Dean and Sam imprisoned within it with the aid of a few witches. With the virus spreading quickly around the town, the towns council reached out to the only town that opened it's doors to it's clean citizens - Mystic Falls. Unbeknownst to them that the virus now laid dormant within a few of the citizens that were moved out. Damon now holds a forgotten item - The Gilbert device. Qetsiyah, whom has an agenda of her own, ensure that the device would work again. Giving it an eternal life and superior strength. Able to harm any supernatural. But most importantly, she gave it the ability to locate those infected with the virus. The device which was intended to end up in the hands of her distant relative, Bonnie Bennett. Things in New Orleans are heating up. With Hayley carrying Klaus' child, Klaus and Marcel fighting over the reign of the town, and the return of the elder witches. Celeste succeeded in killing Davina, only to revive her as a punishment. But the elders want one object as well. The Gilbert device. The town of Mystic Falls is now crawling with more supernaturals than ever. Welcoming the arrival of Lucifer and Death himself. But the supernatural also run a higher risk now. Dean & Sam have come a long way with the sole purpose of saving the town from the virus. To their surprise, the streets are crawling with supernaturals. This town was a beacon for the supernatural and they would stay for as long as they needed to ensure the safety of the towns people.
What threat will the Winchesters hold to Elena and the gang? Or will the town of Mystic Falls propose a higher threat to the Winchesters?
Who will be infected next? What other havoc can others propose? Will someone succeed in taking the device?
